Come on now, I hate this ****** network thing but hell PRovodnikov for example isn't a TR fighter and Bob fed him to two of his fighters already who got hurt badly and he wants to bring him to fight another TR fighter next.

Talk about inhouse fights...... When is the last time GBP has brought ANYONE not with GBP, who has a pulse, to fight one of their fighters?

They bring guys like Gusev, Rees and Zaveck over who know they're not going to win who are just fighting for a paycheck to make their fighters look good.

In fact the last time I can remember was Pirog, he won......and well, we all know what happened with that. Instead of bringing him back like Bob is with Ruslan, he got completely black balled and shunned.

I hate network nuthuggers but that has to be said to your post.

        Rinse. Repeat.

And now they're adding poor Provodnikov to this old tiring mix.

Americans are too obtuse to realize what a sham Top Rank and HBO have become.

This is why boxing will never become big again. The low IQ of its fans. They don't demand, or know the proper means, to lift the sport out of the darkness.

They just sit on their fat asses doing nothing. As soon as a new fighter rises, like Provodnikov, they start ****** threads, "Will Mayweather duck Provodnikov now?"

Once Provodnikov gets exposed, you'll see, "I knew he was a sham."

A bunch of fair-weather fans that don't really care about the sweet science.
its fine so long as the winners fight each other, and then fights tim bradley.

if ruslan fights the winner of rios/manny then there isn't a problem. If ruslan fights jmm or the loser of manny/rios then its BS because winning a fight essentially means nothing, which I agree hurts boxing in the long run.

Not necessarily. It gives rocky more recognition and those are a couple of good match ups to be made. It also gives those fighters another another opportunity.....i dont hear you complaining about josesito lopez or ortiz, or berto getting fights after they lost. we can agree to disagree, but when it comes down to it, rios lost to mike and is getting the fight, which will be an exciting fight while it lasts.......

So what if they are considered FOTY candidates, because the BWAA has become a joke lately with guys like Shill Hauser leading the parade of biases. Guys losing fights then going on to get title shots are not inspiring me to jumpin the bandwagon.

Wouldn't you love to see him in against Danny Garcia or Lucas Matthysse?
