This is what I dislike about Ronnie N articles, this story is another rubbish story he some how tied Provodnikov to Pacquiao.

All Arum said is basically the same crap he always does.

Why would they put Ruslan a 140 pound champ against Pacman? I like when fighters defend their belt and clean out the divisions. Even Bradley said Ruslan is made for 140 and could beast in that division. I want to see Ruslan vs. Danny Garcia.

We need to have a truce already I wish there was some governing body in boxing so these greedy promoters are forced to do business, they are denying us great fights, the worst of the bunch is the Haymon/Golden boy/showtime monopoly.

I find this all rather confusing! LOL
First of all what is not to like about Ruslan? the guy is a throwback fighter a TRUE throwback warrior, not some phony who loves fooling people like Bernard Hopkins who is all talk, Ruslan really is a fighter a true no quit old school grind em out fighter, you will never see him flop like B hop or make excuses like JMM.

it's because Banner promotions is basically Arum's yes man. Banner and Top Rank are on good terms, so Arum gets a good cut.

No excuse? How about being busy for Pac's comeback after a savage KO. Thats more than an excuse thats a must! Besides Marvin Somodio who is Freddie's assistant trainer has been doing just fine for Ruslan in camp and in his corner last night. Ruslan gets full support and guidance from Freddie and the entire Wild Card staff so you need to do yourself a favor and do some research before you go sticking both feet into your mouth. Last - to make reference to "shaking" is a low cheap blow that really puts a full spotlight on your character for everyone who reads these posts to see. So in short it's you who "screwed up" not Freddie as i seriously doubt that you will ever get any respect nor will anyone with a functioning brain take you serious here on Boxing Scene. Nice!

fighters always say they will never fight there stable mate, then they win a couple big fights get big heads and things change. i remember kahn saying he would never fight pac he got more popular and of course that changed. they should'nt be forced to fight but provo should'nt have to lose out on the biggest payday possible if he wants it. still think pac beats him though but would be an explosive fight

I guess you guys haven't figured it out yet... TR are running out of opponents for Manny and Manny is very close to retiring. They need as many opponents as possible for Manny and seeing as Bradley nor Marquez are going to rematch Manny then TR are left with very few options. If you look at TR stable compared to GB then you can start to notice how dry TR are starting to get with match making at 140-147. While GB has tons of match ups with fighters from 140-147. GB stable is just far better then TR.

Bob trumps Roach so Manny will do what Bob says. Promoter > Trainer

Sorry Bob, Manny and ProV will never fight and even if you made them, it will be boring as hell like watching a sparring session. Those two guys are trained by one person and I've seen them talked like they are lovers, so forget it. JMM and ProV... are you f u king kidding? ProV will kill JMM and besides he deserves to fight a winner like Tim B.

Pacquaio will fight whoever Bob Arum tells him to, and Bob will tell him to fight Provodnikov in April 2014. The fight will sell 500,000 PPVs, but Arum will claim it sold 1.1 million and Fat Dan Rafael will print it like it is gospel.

If by throwback you mean limited, plodding slugger, you are absolutely right. I have nothing against him. I am just concerned about his health after Bob Arum is finished using him.
