Prime hatton as of right now. Prime Hatton had a lot more tools than than he's remembered for. He had great foot work, great inside game, workrate, and above average power. I would seriously put money on a Tzsyu fight Hatton over Alvarado fight Provo.

      provodnikov.

you gotta box that dude, if you can do that he is beatable but in a straight up slugfest i dont like anyone odds with that dude. ricky even in his prime didnt have the skills to box ruslan for 12 rounds, he would try to fight him and get bludgeoned with those hammers provodnikov call fists.

maybe if its in england where hatton is allowed all the excessive clinching, holding and hitting and the other dirty stuff he relies on to win fights. then he might have a chance, but in a fair fight he gets ktfo.

His best win was against a HOF'er and a ATG at 140 lbs. It would be a great win for anyone. Plus, 36 is only as old as the fighter makes it. Wlad is 37 now and Vitali is 42.

The discussion is between Hatton and Provodnikov. Ruslan is awesome but has one legit title fight win. Hatton was only beaten by two ATG's in his prime. He was much more than some B rated fighter as you nit wits would make believe. You must have started watching boxing in 2008 too.

I would too. Hatton was possessed in that fight.

You're jumping the gun. Hatton had more boxing chops than most give him credit for. See the Juan Urango and Mallignaggi fights as a reference.

I got Hatton. I think Hatton is overrated by UK fans and underrated by US fans.

Think he'll do what he does and come forward and hold and make it an ugly fight. Hatton by UD

think Hatton would be the one pushing Ruslan back with his punch and grab tactics. Ricky would certainly work the body to slow down the Prov attack.

lol at this whole discussion... Ruslan beats an average world champion and is being hyped up like he is great... its pathetic

he's basically a more skilled katsidis..

Provodnikov by brutal KO because he fought and won last night so that's the only thing I remember.

                    Hatton? Who's that?

                    Did I mention I'm a Yank?
