Muhammad did indeed partake in a little magic. I witnessed him amaze some kids by making a handkerchief disappear, cut a rope in half then restore it to whole again then appear to levitate off the ground. Muhammad's religion prevents him from cheating anyone so after he'd finished he had to show them how the tricks were done.

Maybe he had some sort of "special" religion, but the one he professed to be a convert to has no barrier against lying and cheating. Especially to gain one's objective against enemies and what they call djimmis or heretics. In fact there are numerous passages in their Holy Book which specifically encourage such behaviour. And the founder is lauded (by himself-and those following) for having done these very things, showing by example.

LOOK IT UP if you don't believe me. Of course Ali was pretty crack-brained and may have had a mistaken attitude towards his religion. He was not the sort of brain who would learn anything other than surface crap.
