        There isn't really except Williams lost a fight to Quintana thus killing his momentum for a bigger fight right after his big win against Margarito.

                  Well Guzman was known to the boxing set pretty much like Williams. Williams was probably a bit better known being featured on HBO a few times but it is not like he was tremendously well known, plus him getting beat up and out boxed by Quintana was on HBO so more people saw that event also.

                  it is really nothing to dwell on though because it is easily understandable why, sucks for Guzman but just one of those things that never happened in boxing and was never going to happen.

                    I wouldn't call it a duck so much especially when I don't really recall fan outcry for him to face Joan Guzman. Not to mention of Pac's next 3 fights, in 2 he went on to fight much better opposition in Barrera and Jmm.
