Comments Thread For: Arum on What’s Next For Bradley, Potential PPV Foes

Timothy Bradley “fought an excellent fight” against Juan Manuel Marquez, according to promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, who says that Bradley’s next bout will depend on what happens tonight between Mike Alvarado and Ruslan Provodnikov, and also next month between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios.

“We’ll have to see how this fight and the fight on Nov. 23 turn out,” Arum said on Oct. 18 at the Alvarado-Provodnikov weigh-in. “And then we’ll figure what everybody is going to do.”

And whether Bradley ends up in his third pay-per-view main event or returns to an HBO broadcast will depend on who he fights, Arum said.

Yeah, if only he was golden boy who don't do in house fights

      Oh wait.....there is no difference

Bradley is with a better company who know how to build ppv stars like they did for Oscar, Floyd and Manny

There is no surprise cotto had chosen to end his career with top rank over golden girls who only make the press when Richard whines like a dumped ex about top rank when he sees they make more moneyw

Cotto is a free agent. And bob has like 5 guys at 147. So manny Juan Tim rios and Alvarado will be shoved down our throats with rematches cause bob is too damn stubborn. Top rank has been around forever so no surprise they have more ppv stars

you're jealous of mayweather and De la hoya because they moved on for the right reasons. and are way successful than toprank

Bradley Has No Future But A "L"

Bradley never beat Pacquiao, not even close. Bradley took a major beatdown against Provo. Bradley had drug testing in place with Marquez, and stayed away from a slower, 40 year old counter puncher who looked dramatically older than his fight with Manny. So Bradley remained out of harms way. To say Bradley deserves a Mayweather or Cotto or Pacquiao engagement, only means Bradley gets beat. Bradley can handle the Rios' and Alvarados' of Boxing.... B-Level fighters, but that's it. IN FACT, he can't beat Devon Alexander a second time, now that Alexander has learned to fight.

A Top Rank "recycled" fight is better than ANY Floyd Mayweather fight.

That's because his 2 best opponents at 147 are with Top Rank

I had my doubts but Bradley's decision to go with Top Rank was genius. He has every chance to ride out his contract with them undefeated*, and make some serious paper on the way.
