Well, at least people with a functioning brain will know its not Ruslan's fault.

However, that doesn't speak for many posters on this site.

i figured as much. guys work hard to attain a belt, it's only natural to want to defend it. he rehydrated to like 161 versus rios from 140, so win, lose, or draw he should probably move up.

Both of these guys should be at 147 but I understand Alvarado wanting to keep his belt.

If Ruslan wins, I wonder if he would fight Golden Boy's 140 fighters. Or does he drop the belt and return to 147.

If you have not heard, Alvarado quit on his stool I believe at the start of the tenth round. He was knocked down twice and got the hell beat out of him. The Russian came into the ring weighing 148 pounds so he is not a big 140 pounder and can stay at that weight with no problem. Alvarado weighed 157 pounds coming into the ring so he probably should move up in weight.

Ruslan really pushed the issue on him also so if he was only a little lacking in the gas department Ruslan made him use it all the much faster.

Really good performance he did exactly what he wanted to do.
