    Rios vs. Abril.

A lot of people like to call that a "schooling" but that's not the case. Rios was drained and couldn't do shit.

That said, Abril was robbed. Rios won 3 or 4 rounds at most.

Call me crazy but Cintron looked drained against Canelo. I see Cintron has fought twice since that fight, has he moved up to middleweight?

Roy Jones Jr. vs. Tarver. I don't give a damn what anyone says, gaining and losing all that weight in a short period of time ruined him.

What's funny is that for all the talk from Tarver about how Roy wasn't drained, the same thing happened to him against Hopkins.

        Dawson vs Ward
        De La Hoya vs Pac
        Canelo vs Money

I still think Ward wins Pac wins and Mayweather wins these fights

Just not as easy as the way they did win these fights.

Arreola against vitali, adamek and stiverne. He lost far too much weight, pushed himself far too hard in camp. No fighters body fat% should be as low as arreolas in them 3 fights.

Canelo didnt lose to floyd because he had to lose 2 extra lbs. If you watched the fight you know the gameplan wasnt there to beat floyd.

Naz vs Barrera (not saying he would have won otherwise, but sitting in a sauna the night before the fight having to shed 15 pounds is not good). Rios-Abril, Glass Jawson vs Ward, and of course...

              All of Khan's defeats.

                that's weight drained.

the kid's face and stomach were literally pulled in. i can't see how anybody would think the weight didn't effect him.

it wouldn't have mattered, as he would have lost at 154, but we need to recognize the reality of hte scenario, and that it involved alvarez being severely drained by that extra two lbs. again, the kid needed a chair at the weigh in.

                Exactly.

                Some other were Cotto/Pac, Rios/Abril, Morales/Pac 3, Dawson/juice head Ward, Tarver/Hopkins, Corrales/Floyd...

Manny Pacquiao in the Torrecampo fight
Amir Khan in the Prescott fight

David Haye in the Thompson fight

                  Who else springs to mind?

Roy Jones Jr in the Tarver II fight??

Now weight-draining can either arise when the boxer has completely outgrown the weight division and could never again be effective in that weight class. Or, in some cases, the boxer has just had a poor training camp and has had to lose a lot of weight very close to fight time, like in Haye vs Thompson.
So Jones made the weight before in their first fight but was drained after? Sure it has nothing to do with getting caught due to slowing reflexes in your mid 30s.

You forgot Diego Corrales vs Floyd Mayweather
Antonio Margarito vs Manny Pacquiao catch weight 150
Canelo vs Floyd catch weight 152. To those who have never box 1 pound can make a difference just ask Gary Russell when he black out at the 2008 Olympics
