JAMES DeGALE is convinced that the world title shot he has been dreaming about is just around the corner.
The WBC silver super-middleweight champion is hoping that victory over Dyah Davis next month will take him a massive step nearer a tilt at a world crown.
The 2008 Olympic gold medallist meets Davis at the Glow, Bluewater, in London on November 16 on a fight night that will be screened live on Channel 5.
And after losing just once in 16 professional contests, he feels he is ready to mix it in world title company.
The 27-year-old Londoner said: “I know I’m only a couple of fi ghts away from a world title, so I want to go in there and do a good job on him.
