Stare downs are useless and they did not have them until recently. These two fighters have no grudge and seem to be friends.They will see plenty of each other tonight and fight their hearts out for 12 rounds or less.

Staredowns are good, it builds an atmosphere and vybe. Gets the guys more serious and focused.

Yeah this ^. There was a pic of the two of them horsing around with GGG an' smiling. They seem to get on fine, and both seem like genuine nice guys. In those circumstances a staredown's just a bit of pointless play-acting.

Anyone see the face to face they did? Despite HBO trying to make it seem all serious and dramatic, Mike kept looking like he was trying hard not to crack a grin. Maybe that's why they didn't want a staredown.

Anyways, all that means nothing once they step into the ring, they're both Pros and their careers and futures depend on them giving their all in the fight, and that's what they'll do.
