Great fight, had Matthyse up going into the 8th round but Garcia upped his workrate and took most of the championship rounds. A very underrated fight, after all the hype going into this fight people have now stop talking about it and have moved on to the next fight.

How do we know that we won't see a rematch? It might not be an immediate one but it's a fight that can happen again down the line, hopefully Lucas would get back on the hype train and Garcia doesn't fall off too much and then the fight can make sense again in another 18 months or so.

Lucas eye needs to be completely healed before I'd be comfortable with a rematch, clearly there's something going on where Vivian Harris and Garcia happen to puff up that same eye

Stopped watching after Matthysse's eye swelled, don't really like watching a fighter take shots he wouldn't have taken if he could see them coming. Music wasn't good either.

Minus the point taken for the low blow, it was a clear win for Danny. It was rough early, but it is a 12 round fight. The fight was a fight which we would love to see a rematch, but we have to respect that Danny clearly won, and that if he moves on, so be it.
