I'm afraid so. I don't care if Diaz is aided by the ghosts of Eddie Futch and Ray Arcel. All the king's horses and all the king's men won't be able to put JuanMa back together again....

Juanma needs to work on his defense, nothing more. His head is always wide open for shots as he is careless when on the attack. His punches will land, he needs not to force them.

Contrary to the above posts about JML needing to get more technical or more defensive.Actually I think that's what hurts him. He is not a boxer, that is not his identity, he's best when he's just letting it go. If he gets caught then that's it for him, if he catches you, he could hurt you.

You can not turn a Gatti or a Ward type fighter in to B-Hop or Mayweather. He has to work with what he's capable of doing, make his offense his defense.

Not at this stage in his career, Kev. I agree. Diaz might've helped years ago. Not now. No one can truly help anymore. At this level, JuanMa will get caught. His chin's been cracked. It's over. Lopez needs to find another profession. I think it's a shame. Others may not agree.

Yeah. Blame Bob. Gamboa might've been better of right now if had beaten Juanma.

Hopeful Juanma can bounce back. Pedro is a good choice for a trainer.
