I think one area I have trouble with is this idea of "just keep on winning".

I have my very favourite fighters and I hate it when they lose. But ultimately, I have a thirst for great fights, not great records.

Seeing one of my favourite fighters in Pac getting KTFO against JMM was hard to take - but I still love that fight, it's an iconic, transcendent, seminal fight and Manny getting put to sleep was an amazing, and in many ways, fitting end to it. I will cherish that fight forever, because it had everything I love about boxing.

And I would rather see another fight like that than 10 Pac-David Diaz's.

All I want are great fights.

        Selling points and circumstances.

Pacquiao, Cotto and pretty much all Mexican fighters have loyal fanbases that will always be there.

Bradley, Mayweather, Rigondeaux, etc. need to win, hold titles and keep their pound for pound status to maximize their value in boxing.

Certain fighters have more abilities to take risks than others.

I understand. As I said, there's a philosophical debate going on right now, and it's easy to see the perspective of all sides.

One thing about Rigo, though - I know he's a defensive wizard but I thought it was a spectacular performance against Donaire (another of my favourite fighters). And that was because there was a sense of danger in that fight. Nonito knew he couldn't make a single ****ing mistake without getting tagged. And the way Rigo came after him in the 12th round was awesome.

And that is another problem I have with Tim. When he fights strictly as a boxer.....there's no sense of danger because he's almost cruising, doing enough to win the rounds.

          It just lacks something.

I prefer fighters who want to be great, instead of being satisfied with just a win, another day at the job type of performance.
And thats what i loved about the Pacquiao vs Marquez IV, both were not confirmed with "Just Another Win", Both fighters were out there that night to make a statement.
Thats what made it a magical, nearly mythical night of boxing, one that would be talked about for the ages.

To be fair, both fighters were frustrated at their lack of getting a clear win over the other. Manny because he was the heavy favorite in that third fight claiming he would KO Juan, but was seen as getting a gift nod; Marquez because he felt he got robbed the first three times and wanted to settle it with an official win.

Circumstances like that don't come around all that often. It was truly a great fight, one that I think people will view as a boxing classic in the years to come.

Keep yelling yourself that. I guess he won the Pacquiao fight too.

His market value still wouldn't sky rocket in terms of what he brings to the table. SKYSPORTS are now showcasing him so maybe that would help him in the UK at least.
The problem with Bradley is he can't punch Mayweather can actually punch he just plays it safe so he's not floored he does have over 30 ko's what does Bradley have 12

Bad decisions happen. A lot of people think Castillo beat Mayweather the first time. I'd like to see the rematch between Manny and Tim to clear the controversy up.
