Four-division world title holder Erik Morales will likely return to the ring in December, he announced late Thursday night.

"En diciembre me subo al ring de nuevo ... (I'll be entering the ring in December)," Morales posted on his twitter page.

Morales (52-9, 36 KOs) has not fought since being stopped in the fourth round by Danny Garcia in October of last year. Morales has passed the last year campaigning for candidates seeking public office and making public appearances on both sides of the United States-Mexico border.

Doubt it, but its more money in the sport now than when he was on top, he can make millions fighting bums, it's the reason fighters like him Mosley and Roy keep going on....

Erik is gonna be fighting at 147lbs I assume. SOmeone is gonna beat erik to death if he doesn't kill himself with pills/drugs trying to make 140.

Retire already, man. I was surprised when i found out that he was younger than Marquez and looks so shot to **** compared to Marquez. He should have a farewell fight, and then retire ASAP.
