If Berto was Mexican people would praise him for his heart, in his fight with Soto Karass, but since he is Afro Caribbean it is cool to overlook the fact that he fought with 1 arm, took a beating and gave it his all. Apparently it is something to laugh at.

I'll never understand why the guy wasn't schooled in the peekaboo from the very beginning. he had all of the physical attributes of a young tyson, but the idiot tried to be james toney.

I think he been flat footed from the jump, he never was quick on his feet just very fast hands, he still has fast hands but in the upper level one punch aint enough now he has to put more then one punch together.

Berto is a victim of his own success young and combined with the bums they feed him for so long, He gots it embedded in his head all he has to do is land that one solid punch and he can change and win the fight but now that he stepped up and fighter real oppenents that one punch is not enough. But he just dont understand that.

So berto defense sucks and doesnt throw enough to win a damn round anyways so it shouldnt come to any shock that reason berto is what 0-4 is his 4 fights and has been busted with steriods. He just cant compete at this level.

Broner reminds me of Berto to be honest. Broner has a better defense though, but I think he might turn out like Berto.

Berto has been the same exact fighter since he was fighting on espn, he had the talent, had the promoter, the management, the speed and power, the toughness.

But he doesnt love boxing enough to study and dedicate himself to the sport the way he needs to, to reach his potential. It's to bad no one took him out of Florida and gave him to roach years ago, we would be talking about a much different fighter right now.
