The featherweight champion of the World Boxing Organization, Orlando 'Siri' Salido, was honored and praised by the mayor of Hermosillo, Alejandro López Caballero. Last Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Salido once again became a world champion when he scored a seventh round knockout of Puerto Rico's Orlando Cruz on the Tim Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez HBO Pay-Per-View event. Salido's record was raised to 40 wins, 28 by knockout with 12 defeats and 5 draws.
