He'd fight cotto for legacy. He's a sure fire 1st ballott HOF. Thats what Tim is looking for. IMO its only the pacquiao rematch and cotto left at TR for Tim.Comment

at 150 or 152
I think cotto beats up bradley...
Bradley is a really good fighter, but styles make matchups,, i can just see cotto putting him on the ropes and unloading,,,,
I dont think bradley could stand up to the cotto onslaughtComment

True but Bradley wants the belt for legacy, why fight Cotto without an extra incentive? if he gets a strap out of it, people will see that in the history books.
Still a good fight regardless but if I were timmy I would try to capture a strap, Cotto is no slouch he can fight Bradley especially the aggressive Cotto, this is a bad style match up for Bradley.Comment

I agree, Cotto will beat Bradley badly.
Horrible style match up, but its a ppv worthy event.
Cotto needs a guy who has enough power to keep him at bay. If you don't punch hard he will just keep going forward and pummel you, Bradley will not have enough pop to keep Cotto back.Comment

yeah he said he fought at around 150's in the amateurs.
But I think he would only fight Cotto for a belt. If Cotto had a strap he would do it.

Cotto should get a strap at 154 and have Bradley challenge for it. I got Cotto by TKO inside of 9 rounds. Cotto will cut off the ring and not just follow Bradley around. I'd like to see this over a Martinez match since Cotto needs to win a big fight to shake off the haters that say he's lost all his big fights.Comment

It would be difficult to pummel Bradley, unless he fight ******.I agree, Cotto will beat Bradley badly.

He got the best foot speed and is difficult to catch, the guy is still improving.
He is #2 p4p IMO and I don't even like him.Comment

Bradley fought at 152 in the amateurs, he could fight at 154 now.
And, if the money is there, i'm sure Cotto would accept. If it's the same money to fight Canelo, Martinez, and Bradley, i'm sure Cotto would go with the smaller, weaker puncher in Bradley, understandably. But I think out of all three the most money is in a Canelo fight who is on Showtime, and second most money and best legacy fight is Martinez.
Bradley is not as easy fight by any means, you won't look good against Bradley. But fortunately for Cotto is that Bradley, at worst, will just jab you to death, dance around, raise his hands as if he just won the round, act confident and that's about it. He is not going to land a whole lot of dangerous power punches on you, if any. He is not going to retire Cotto, Marquez or any one with a pulse, no matter how much he threatens to do so pre-fight. Bradley is the safest fight Cotto can take right now against a top 3 fighter, top 10 P4P fighter. I just don't know if the money in a Bradley PPV would lure Cotto to fight him. I think Cotto-Martinez does a good 200-300k more than what Cotto-Bradley would do. So if Cotto-Bradley does 300-400k, I think Cotto-Martinez does like 600-700k. If Bradley really becomes aggressive calling out Cotto, saying he'd move up to 154, saying he'd take the lesser money, etc. just accommodate Cotto, then I can see Cotto taking it.Comment
