Its more about the lack of buzz from media and fans. You see Steve Kim and Dan Rafael and their followers all talking about how Bradley vs. Mayweather would be boring. Espinoza, GBP, Ellerbe and everybody else will see that and not even make an effort to pursue the fight.
Lara is his mandatory at 154. Whoever wins between him and Trout should get a shot. But again those fighters are "boring", "have no fans" and "can't sell PPVs".
Garcia is the most deserving fighter. I was critical of this fight because I think Garcia matches up horribly but that shouldn't be a reason why it doesn't get made. But when this was proposed on social media all of the comments were "119-109 Floyd waste of time", "He's not ready", "not interested', "he needs to build his name up", etc.
I would love the Pacquiao fight but the fans (including myself) helped destroy that possibility by continuing to allow Floyd and Manny to stage multi-million dollar events and reward them for avoiding each other.
Just seems to me that everybody is giving GBP reasons to make **** fights like Floyd/Khan. Its Floyd's responsibility to take on the most deserving challenger but why take a tough fight when you get $40 million no matter who the opponent is?
