Might have been stating the obvious, however most people really seem to have counted manny out, some don't even have him in the top 10 p4p which is an insult and an absolute joke.

While my opinion is he should be still on the top 10. Logically he shouldnt...Because he has back to back losses even though one of them was bull****.

I remember one year BHop fell 7 or 8 places for dominating two fighters that people considered mediocre. Pac "lost" robbery of the year, "won" robbery of the year, and "lost" KO of the year in his last three fights. If he goes out and bashes a very mediocre Rios, people are going to be trying to declare him P4P #1 again. The reality is he should be dropping spots just for fighting Rios at all.

I don't think it would be anywhere near as close as you think. Pacquiao's reach and length (or lack thereof) would not work well for him. Floyd is a master at controlling pace and distance while Pacquiao has been frustrated by even basic movement in recent years (Bradley and Mosley). Pacquiao has also shown repeatedly to be wide open for right hands at certain points in his attack and that you can force him to reset again and again (Marquez III and the last 3 rounds of Bradley). How long before Floyd would figure that out? 4 rounds at most? A little movement and timing can nullify Pac in recent years, so even a second Bradley fight would be dangerous for Pac. Throw Floyd's handspeed and reflexes into the mix and it is suicide watch in Pacland.

Funny thing is pacquiao didn't really get the credit he deserved for the way he fought against bradley. As Tim is proving, he is one of the best around right now, and pacquiao dominated him. Second fight will really be interesting to watch, can either be pacman by ok or a closer decision.

He doesn't have the brain to beat Floyd; he let Marquez hit him with the same punch for 4 fights which tells me he isn't smart enough in the ring. He wants to fight on the outside which he wouldn't be able to do vs Floyd.

and jmm let manny beat him up everytime for 4 fights, till that hailmary KO. it's boxing, you'll get hit one way or another with a similar shot, especially if you're an offensive fighter. what's your point?
