Going by Floyd`s history i doubt he fights Kahn next.Floyd has a more credible big name opponent in Danny Garcia available to him.

I wouldn't write him off, to be honest. I've never seen Khan get out-boxed, only get caught by a big counter shot and go down because of his weak chin. When you consider Floyd hasn't legitimately KO'd anyone since Hatton 6 years ago (whatever you want to say about the Ortiz fight, he's never going to knock someone out like that again) it's at least a contest.

Floyd would beat anyone anyway so it doesn't really matter how big a challenge it is on paper. All that matters is how entertaining it is and a fight with Khan is probably more entertaining than watching Floyd school Garcia. Pacquiao would of course be better, but it's never going to happen. Bradley will happen some time down the line.

Mayweather doesn't get credit for any of his fight so why does it matter to him who he fights? Here are the excuses waiting in the future for Floyd fights............

Khan = he has been ko'd twice and don't deserve it
Garcia = Too slow and moving up in weight from 140
Alexander = well he lost to bradley and is a quitter
Pacquiao = Floyd waited until he lost a step
Bradley = He had no power and was shot from the provodnikov fight
GGG = He was weight drained from the catch weight
Martinez = He was shot and old and not the same fighter
Broner = He couldn't beat Floyd at his own shoulder roll game and a hype job
Matthysse = Too slow and lost to garcia
Maidana = He was never good plus he was shot from the many wars
Chavez jr = He is just a fat boy who doesnt train
Quillin = He was never good and who did he ever beat

I don't know if Khan is next but it will happen based on the UK connection.
People forget that Mayweather vs Hatton sold 1.2 million ppv in the uk which broke a record over there.

The Khan fight can sell 1 million in the US and another 700-800 thousand in the uk.
Add that up and it = mucho dinero

This fight will make money no matter what some of you say. And to some of you other peoples money is what matters in this sport.

Not a money guy at all but this fight will make money

Khan a needs a big win to be considered for me. Only bradley and garcia are acceptable floyd fight IMO

The worst part is if he loses to Amir Khan he will be forgotten. That would be a riskier fight than fighting Pacman or Martinez.

Floyd's legacy would take a blow, he would become the laughing stalk if he lost to Amir Khan with his amateurish style.

I wouldn't take the fight if I was Floyd.
