I didn't see the fight but a lot of scribes say that it was either a draw or a win for Chavez so your use of "clearly" is iffy -
dont let his "name" cloud the fact that the kid is only 19, in the smaller weights, and immediately turned pro... he hasn't even grown into his body yetComment

JCC Jr. clearly lost that fight but was given the gift of a draw. Like father like son.Originally posted by gattifan24I didn't see the fight but a lot of scribes say that it was either a draw or a win for Chavez so your use of "clearly" is iffyComment

You also have to relize that JCC Jr. is not fighting every 5 months but is fighting once a month or every 2 months. JCC Sr. fought 40 nobodys before his first real fight and look how good he got from that. Those 40 fights were in only 4 years and he wasent being watched by the people like how JCC Jr. is right now cause of his dad. They put him on undercards because of his father, so people expect too much from him right now and I think thats part of the problem. JJC Jr. is doing the same thing his dad did but with everyone watching him and expecting too much too early. But if he were not to fight on PPV undercards then most PPV's would only have 3 fights like the Morales vs. Pacquiao rematch. I guess having a dad like he does gives you that opportunity.Originally posted by psychopathThat's a very good input Bro. That is what posters like to read.

Hmmm . . . that's right very true. People expect too much from the kid this early. Infact I'm one of those people
I'm supporting the kid just like his father but I'm getting impatient waiting for him to fight a fighter with 20 or more fights at least.
Well as you mentioned the reputation and name of the father is affecting his career.

Go JCCjr GO!!!!! the first to fulfill his father's dream of reaching 100-0 by fighting patsies forever!!!!Originally posted by psychopathJccSr is one of my all time favorites and I was looking at his son Jr to at least make it to the top level of competition. But Jesus look at this!
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (23-0-1) vs. Carlos Molina (8-1-1)
Yes he is fighting again on Feb 25 against a guy who has only 10 fights?
DAMN, Cotto is 25 and 0, but he already have a belt and have locked horns with real stiff opponents, what's up with JCCjr fighting opponents with only 10 fights?
Isn't that hilarious? Your thoughts . . .
