and guerrero is good on the inside coz he fought berto , a guy who sucks at everything .. what happened to salido?...aydin?...

mathysse is pretty good on the inside , atleast danny boy was succesful at regulating his inside game .. hell even he traded with him .. i dont see guerrero doing that and not get badly hurt...

Robert can choose not to give him that space to operate. OR he can fight at midrange with him, and have less worries of the counter left (something Lucas was avoiding easily for the first few rounds), than your orthodox fighter.

Yeah, OK. That's why we had threads before Garcia/Lucas fight saying how no one knows how Lucas' power would translate to WW, and that he'd be one of the smaller guys at WW. Danny is almost the same size as Lucas. I see no difference in those question marks.

Ghost can setup his offense with a proper jab, and uses different angle on his jab. Far more advanced stuff than what Danny can do at this stage. He has the straight jab. The parry jab. The side step jab, and the overhand jab. He sets up his combos more cleanly. He sneaks that left hand by bkinding you with his jab.

He sets up his body attack better with subtle foot movement. He can actually fight on the inside, and expose your inside deficiencies. He can fight at midrange, and long range.

        He is a SOUTHPAW.

He's the guy I'd be much more comfortable with riding with if they were to fight.

Matthysse is good on the inside if you're backing up and scared. He's also more of a midrange/inside fighter. He still needs room to operate.

Guerrero isn't only good on the inside because of Berto. What did Floyd do every time it turned into an inside fight? Clinched and held on. Floyd beat him at midrange with his right hand counters. Danny is NO Floyd.

And no, I don't think Ghost dominates him. I think he beats him, and I wouldn't be shocked if Danny won. If its close, I could see the judges giving it to Danny.

lucas is a short guy, similar frames...set up his jabs?..lol , everyone does that to katsidis..sneaks his left after a jab ?...thats a basic 1-2 if your a southpaw, it'd be the other way around if your orthodox .. how about we talk about counter punching?..guerrero just talks a good game but really has'nt put it into work vs a guy he's not favored to beat (exept berto)

I've always like RG and, for what it's worth, I thought he was being quite effective in the first 3 rounds against Floyd..but after seeing the adjustment Mayweather made and how he neutralized all of Ghost's attributes from the midrange and inside, I think danny can use the gameplan as far as distance and turning to outbox RG while moving backward to buy time...and win enough rounds for a close decision. Garcia adaptability is his best attribute and he's coachable so I think he will get the idea after a couple of rounds.

Maybe point deductions would be an issue in this fight...against Guerrero. No doubt he will be doing all he can to fight out of a clinch and the ref will have to make some decisions early on

Still would be a close fight. Rg goes after it but can also fight off the backfoot, but he hasn't shown that at this weight imo...still, if u come in wide against him, he can chop u up the middle..and is good inside.

obviously Danny doesn't have the speed of May or even the casamayor that moved on RG...so its not like RG wouldnbt be having a lot of success I just think danny has the cool and calm about him to buy time and go back to boxing in spots to edge it out

                  He lost to Floyd, okay.

That's kinda my point. Danny doesn't really have a jab. You'll see when they fight, how RG disrupts his timing every time he pops him with the jab.

He fought Floyd. What did you expect to happen? Danny is absolutely no Floyd.

When the fight gets made, if it gets made, I'm bumping this.

Until then, I got Ghost in this one.
