Agreed totally, but I would add Steve Smoger and Arthur Mercante Jr. to that distinguished list. Each aforementioned ref has their own nuances and things they do best, but if I was a boxer I'd be happy with any of those 4 men to ref my fight.

Btw, Denny Nelson as a judge? That guy is fucking terrible! He had Cloud over Campillo, Alexander over Kotelnik and Matthysse, and Salido-Lopez II a draw before the stoppage.

Based on all that, he's just as bad as CJ Ross.
