Tapia definitely has more pop than Ishida, and I think he'll have Kirkland looking ****** if he's not 100% prepared.

why are people still talking about Kirkland? Kirkland is done.....he ruined his career. he's a fun fighter to watch against c class opponents but he's completely done at the top level. his head is no longer in it............

You also named him Howdy Doody ! He looks so much like the red-head, freckled face character we watched on TV everyday. Canalo is much nicer looking....but there is a likeness between Howdy Doody and Canelo Alverez. Kirkland has too many issues and no discipline to go far in the ring. To bad...because he appeared to be a rising star; instead his star fell.

James Kirkland has the weak jaw of a child and the common sense of a mothball. Kirkland is made for prison and doing time. Keeping Kirkland off the streets is the best for all America. A Quick KO loss and James will be back in the clink.

Kirkland is a blight on society and incapable of living as a free man. Talk about a messed up kid. Mike Tyson could help Kirkland sort out his screwed up life even. James Kirkland has that type of face that looks better behind iron bars.

I've spoken with James Kirkland several times living in Austin and he is a very friendly individual. He's very respectful so I imagine you have some idea of Kirkland in your head that isn't accurate. I hope 50 cent doesn't ruin his career so far 50 has done nothing for Gamboa. It probably would have been best for James to stay with GBP. I can tell you he eats big so I'm not suprised about the contracted weight issues though. Ring rust is not good for a fighter like James. This is going to be a very difficult fight for him against an undefeated guy who has been very active and having to make weight. Hopefully he is 100% focused and will get himself into form.
