Very interesting match-up. Trout will have a slight height/weight advantage, while Lara has more pop and is more explosive. Boxer vs. Counter-puncher. Trout's activity vs. Lara's precision.

Well said, and pretty much the way i see it.

I will say I think Trout has looked better than Lara when he has stepped up in class. With the exception of Williams, Lara has not looked to good as he has stepped up. Trout looked good against Cotto and Canelo. Even though he lost to Canelo he kept it competitive. Lara struggled badly against Molina, Matirosyan, and Angulo. I thought he lost to Molina and thats nothing to be ashamed of, but Martirosyan is a joke and Angulo is a shadow of him former self.

I'm leaning towards Trout. Its a risky fight for him though, he can't afford to lose two in a row. Its a good fight against top rated JMW's but its probably going to be boring as ****.

This would be a good match up, make it happen. I got Lara beating the crap out of Trout. Lara is quite possibly the best at 154lb. I would like to see Mayweather vs Lara.

I'm surprised this fight is getting made but it makes the most sense for both guys. The winner should get a crack at Carlos Molina for the IBF title.
