LOL,,, its cool that you like lara,, i do to,,, but lets be real,,,

lara goes life and death with every top fighter he has faced like angulo and Pwill,, molina schooled him

floyd wouldnt lose a round to angulo, williams, molina,,,,,

Lara looks the part, but isnt it,,,,,,,,, is he a world class fighter yes,,, but can he dominant at the world class level, no..... he will be like a spinks, judah, corrales, casamoyer, etc, guys that can win at the elite level but also lose,,,, he will never dominate like a floyd, manny, serg, donaire, wlad,,,,,

I like lara alot, he could be a champ one day,, but i dont think he will ever clear out a division,, he is good but not great,, i enjoy watching him, and he will blow out a hearns all day,, but that isnt a great accomplishment on the elite level,,,

if he was truely elite, he would have beaten angulo easily, same with molina and williams,,,
Good world class fighter, but not a top level elite guy, he is a 50/50 fighter vs other world class fighters,,,,

Put me on ignore, i could care less,,,,

Did lara deserve the win,, yes,, but did he look like a p4p elite guy in that fight,, no....

Lara did go life and death with angulo and williams,,, both should have been lara wins,, but he had way too tough of fights with both,,, with lara's size and skill, if he was truely elite, he would have turned those guys into sparring partners, like floyd did ghost and canelo, and manny did bradley,,

Once again i think lara is a good fighter,, but just a step below p4p level...
The dude should have been beaten by molina

          • Lara completely schooled Williams who had a gazillion inches on him and weight too. So idk WTF you're going on about.

Did I mention he fought with a big ass lump on the side of his head too? Same lump that made Angulo quit.

            • With Lara's size? You do realize this dude has been the smaller guy in most his fights except probably the Molina fight? And who the fk called Lara elite?

Cant tell if you're trolling or a complete tool.

I'm not trying to condescend you because you are a respectable poster here, but just know I'll be reading your comments after the fight where you will inevitably say how you didn't expect to see Broner perform the way he did and how you didn't think Broner was a mover and more defensively responsible than you thought. The kid is 23 years old, he has legs, he will use them when he has an opponent in front of him that he knows he can't stand his ground with. I've seen Broner go in a ring and not be touched by a significant punch, and use constant movement in the gym. He chooses not to do it often because he really does like offense, contrary to the school of fighting he comes from. He is a 23 year old kid and he's not as serious too his craft as I would like him to be, but he has shown growth in maturity in the gym over the past few months. Trust, you will be impressed with his performance against Maidana. Adrien's power isn't what it was at the higher weights, but I know I will not be shocked when he stops Marcos.
Basically this, in the same post you quoted:

Maidana will definitely hit Broner back cleanly, but he won't win. Maidana will just look outmatched over.
I am already predicting that Maidana will look outmatched, skillwise. But that he will catch Broner cleanly because his defense isn't that good.

What I will say after the fight isn't going to be any different than what I said in that post. Broner is indeed very stationary, he is not a guy that will float like a butterfly, but he does sting like a bee. His best asset is his power.

                • I do think he will beat Maidana but that won't put him Top 5, I don't even have him Top 10 at the moment...Based off of what?

I think he has the potential to get that high maybe even higher eventually but he is not their yet!

                  • Maidana will be dedicated to his jab and try to work off of that, he will get countered but he will land punches as well. As strong a punch as can be felt on the current ww scene.

Broner I've already outlined his flaws, too stationary for that style.. Not powerful enough at ww... shells up when under attack. Susceptible to the body.. But his major flaw is his mentality. He gives me a ****** Ortiz type of vibe. Maidana excels at breaking mentally weak fighters, and I believe Broner is that. He's not dedicated enough to the game, he's too wrapped up in the cheap girls and rap tours, and finding some new dumb **** to put on his instagram. On trying to be like Floyd OUTSIDE the ring as opposed to being a dedicated student inside of it. I see zero improvement in broner from like 4 fights ago. Zero. He has plateaued. He could coast by on his skills and athleticism before, with smaller guys or lighter hitters.. But he can't fuck around with a guy like that. This is Maidana we are talking about. A super motivated Maidana with a good trainer finally that knows his ass from a hole in the ground.

If we were talking anyone else with Broner's same skills, and I was halfway convinced he was competent of fighting a disciplined fight, then I would say he has a shot at outboxing El Chino.

But Broner is a fuckup. And his style is susceptible to pressure. Maidana by KO
