This has nothing to do with DUCKING fighters, Sam Watson basically cleared up why the guy who said Floyd doesn't fight N!$$gas is because of money and fanbase. They jokingly said they would be the only ones showing up.

Mayweather vs Mosley did 1.5 million buys (more than his fights against Hatton, Ortiz, Guerrero, and Marquez).

Tbh Floyd will do a cool million, regardless of the opponent. That's just were he is at, this point in his career.

But take into consideration that Mosley had a fanbase and was known with Americans from his wins over Oscar, and he just came off a huge win against Margarito.

Also Floyd PPV with Guerrero didn't sell well under 1 million, so having a Mexican American doesn't always do well.

I think he needs to have a name fighter to be honest. I don't think he could do big numbers against another Guerrero type fighter like Devon Alexander the only one I can see Floyd doing good numbers with is Tim Bradley even though Bradley basically has no fanbase but a handful it could sell because Bradley beat Pacquiao and Marquez and both are undefeated top p4p guys the two best at 147.

Im not a big Floyd fan, but this thing about Floyd needing a opponent to draw is reaching. Yes its a much bigger fight to have two big named fighters fight each other, but less not pretend that Floyd not a draw. With the death of the american heavyweight division, guess where that american market that use to go to Holyfield and Tyson went? To put it simply, Floyd is treated as the heavyweight champion of the world. Thats why he put numbers up.
