i think this fight is actually closer than most people think, i gave juan 5-6 rds at the most so a draw would not suprise me.

Unless i've had it wrong all these years, doesn't the challenger have to do above and beyond when going to the scorecards against the title holder? Basically if the fight was close, the title holder gets the decision. I didn't see the fight, but from what I've read, only a select few had Marquez winning while the majority thought it wasn't even close. This guy is unbelievable.

Im glad im not a Bradely fan, I would never root for a fighter like that, one who dances his way to victory without giving the fans what they paid for. Again Bradely did what he had to do to win and more power to him, but he did it in a cowardly way!
Bradley's game plan was to neutralize Juan Manuel Marquez' counters by stepping in and out, using his head movement to slip on the way out. Of course he was not going to stick around and stand in front of Marquez, he used his physical assets instead.

Bradley out-fought Marquez, pure and simple. JMM could have been more aggressive in this fight but instead it was Bradley leading every exchange (and finishing every sustained exchange). JMM's strategy of "walking down Bradley" was essentially cutting off the ring and then standing in front of Bradley to try and counter him, it wasn't effective at all.

Never said he didn't outwork Marquez, it was a close fight man. What I'm saying is that the fight had little action bro and it wasn't Because of Marquez. Bradely did what he had to, that being said, Bradely did not school Marquez, he simply played it safe.

No and no. Respectfully. Bradley outmaneuvered Marquez. He didn't "outfight" him. He controlled distance. That is the reason Marquez could not lead more and could not get off more punches. Bradley wouldn't let him. He did not allow it by using lateral movement and changes of direction so little stubby sticks Marquez couldn't get set and couldn't throw. Mayweather did the same to JMM..

WHEN are people going to put this whole distance control **** together??

                  neither mexican nor black here..

Bradley was in complete control of the fight and all the confidence in the world, moreso than his previous few fights. I don't get why people say Bradley was on his bike. What is he supposed to do just come forward and throw combinations and one of the best counterpunchers in the sport? JMM needs to stop *****in stop cryin. All JMM does in every fight is feint and wait for his opponents to attack, we all know this is the safer route than opening up .How can anyone say Bradley was running. He had the perfect game plan, press behind a jab, doubling/tripling it to stop counters. I didn't see him run at all, I just saw a frustrated JMM not being able to catch him with is 1-3 punch counters like he was able to execute so freely on Pac, due to styles. Saw a little bit of Mayweather defense (ducking, rolling) in Bradley for this fight as well, not bad not bad. Anyone notice?

                    My total is for JMM.

Note: this is not about dancing, or hitting the air, or slapping with open hand or with the head. (by these Bradley is the clear winner, by boxing system JMM got most of the valid points).
Most of the people @ Thomas & Mack Center were rooting for Marquez. So, suggesting us to mute the tv, you're not helping Marquez at all. Stop this bs.

Two judges sided with Bradley, giving him the win with scores of 115-113 and 116-112. The third scored the fight for Marquez with a tally of 115-113. Marquez felt two of the judges robbed him of a win.
