That's a nice move from Price. He should just change his style and stop pretending to be Wladimir Klitschko. Price has some nice half-hook half-uppercuts.
I wanna see David Price vs Deontay Wilder. The loser of this fight would be a fraud. If Wilder wins this fight, he would be definitely a contender. At least Price has got some courage and fights Tony Thompson insteqd of beating up cab drivers or heavy bags.Comment

I think David Price must be a big time worrier.
He comfortably broke apart Sexton after however many rounds that was and was completely at ease. But against Thompson his tank was empty before he really took a shot. It must have been all that nervous energy and tension.
Adam Booth as a very, cool, calm and collected man. That alone should benefit Price. It is a mental game after all. You definitely can't fault the confidence of Booth's two main charges. I know confidence should come from the fighter but trainers definitely help.Comment

He might do, we don't know yet. The Froch fight will tell us a lot.'Sound professional' to me means that he has all the basic areas covered adequately. I'm not being pedantic, I just think he comes unstuck at a higher level.
Ingles are good but again, they teach one style and it's not exactly a very forgiving one. I don't rate Gallagher at all.
I think his defense is OK, not the greatest, but I've seen worse. Maybe not, but all fighters that come out of the Ingle gym are well schooled usually reach quite a high level.
I think Gallagher is good at developing top British level fighters. Don't know about world level. probably not.Comment

Gallagher has loads of top British fighters he just hasn't had one push onto world honours just yet. It is bound to come.Comment

Last throw of the dice for David but at least it is a brave, put-it-all-on-the-line kind of move and a fighter being completely honest with himself. He deserves credit for that....there must of been some easier/less radical options like working with some of the established Manc trainers like Joe G.
Whether Booth decides to rebuild David from scratch and develops a new stlye or simply focuses on fixing some specific, known weaknesses will be interesting to see.
Wonder whether Price will get straight in there and spar with Haye as he reloads for his fight with Fury? Must be tempting to do this, Haye gets another tall guy to work on and Booth gets to evaluate exactly what Price brings to the table and see what needs to be fixed.Comment
