He came to fight at times yes, but he was always keeping his distance or at least trying for example he never once traded in the middle of the ring like in the Danny Garcia fight. Check the 10th round Punch from maidana and it was while Khan was circleing away. If that happened in the middle of the ring like in the Garcia fight he would have been dropped because the ropes wouldn't have been there to keep him up.

So Running might have been the wrong wording, but Broner dosen't fight in the same way, he is very stationary and doesn't clinch like a Devon for example. Maidana will get chances in this fight IMO.

Maybe not running but he was moving a lot and never once traded in the middle of the ring liek in the Garcia fight, more than Broner has done that is for sure. Maidana had his moments in that Khan fight too he won rounds 6,7 10 and 12. You could also argue rounds 3 and 11.

Broner has no power to hurt anyone at 147, he couldn't even knock out paullie, theres no way he beats maidana he does tend to get caught quite a bit aswell so if maidana lands its goodnight. I mean come on khan knocked out paullie with ease and made him look basic, if by miracle he does get past maidana i'd like to see him fight khan.

Khan didn't knock Paulie out. And boxing doesn't work the way u clearly think it does. Styles clash and contrast. Khan had the right style for Paulie And Mali had the right style for broner but he still lost clearly. Broner just happens to have the right style tobdral with maidana and that's gonna be the story of this fight. As far as maidana knocking out broner? Doubtful. He couldn't knock out khan no defense having ass even tho he had chances. He's not knocking out broner.

I cant wait to see this fight,,

            should be a war,,,

broner doesnt have good foot movement,, he is like a james toney more than roy jones
broner will stand his ground and try to roll with punches, maidana will be swinging for the fences,,,

this will be the fight to see if broner is the goods or not,,, We all know what maidana brings to the table,, he has proven himself and there are no unknowns about him, with broner we still dont know how good is his chin and stamina, and also power at welter,

i favor broner slightly but this is a 55/45 type fight,,,

and yes this could def be a fight of the year candidate, but i doubt it tops bradley-prov

I'm hoping it will be the KO of the year with Maidana KOing Broner. Maybe that will keep his mouth shut.

Yeah you would think that but I don't know, Broner couldn't really set against Paulie because he is very mobile and active. The jury is out on his power at 147 but I'd take what Paulie says with a grain of salt because he is really pissed off at Broner lmao.

Imo Maidana needs to go to the body and stay very active, Broner is pretty good at keeping his head out of range. I would like to see Marcos win, but it's not that easy to make a case for him.

You can make a case for Maidana, its not like Broner is the king at 147 beating everybody. he has had 1 fight at 147 winning a sd showing limited movement and power. He held all the advantages at 130 an 135 and was feasting on lesser opponents expect for De Marco. I'm not convinced 147 is the weight that broner should be fighting at. (Quintero and De Leon beat him IMO)

Maidana is the toughest Opponent Broner will have faced so far, the biggest puncher at the biggest weight he has fought in. As you say Broner's head might be hard to hit clean but maybe just clipping it will have the same effect we just don't know yet as he hasn't been hit by a Maidana before. I agree that he should go to the body and I'm sure Robert Garcia will tell him too as well.

I'm going for Maidana by stoppage, won't change my mind and if Broner wins and wins fairly then fair play to him.
