I'd be surprised if there's road blocks for this fight too.

Arum is a tool... Obviously hes trying to market Bradley as this next big thing with wins over Marquez and Pacquiao but seriously no one would pay to see him if its not with another top quality name..

Much respect to Bradley for the hard work he puts in but at this point he really has no fan base other then his wife, kids, dad, and trainers.. Dont even think the Mexicans in Palm Springs were evening rooting for him..

Just about all the details of that fight had been settled when Mayweather came out with the "testing' scheme.... You guys either forget very easily or never knew.....

And another thing they all forget....it was MannyP who was in the driver's seat at that time with an unequalled reputation, not Phoney. It was a big concession for him to finally agree to 50-50. In a previous fight Pacquiao had held up signing because he wanted an extra 1%, and in another fight it was an extra 1.5%, so 50-50 was a big concession.

And another thing, the story about him being very superstitious is absolutely true and on record by several who know him best. particularly before fights he has to stay in the same hotel suite each time, and when his bus is touring the country he has to drive ahead in a private car, and he wouldn't even take an eye test because he felt it was 'invasive'.... And even the dimwits on here know that he blamed his Morales loss to the fact that he gave blood a few weeks before the fight.

What a ******, bigoted, irreconcilable bunch they are.

Good. Anything is better than Mayweather vs Khan. No one should have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a fight that will end in round.
Mayweather vs Bradley is a fight I would love to see happen.

That is BS , utter BS , they knew about the testing in the very first draft that was sent to them and Roach said he was fine with it at the time , they started changing their views on the testing after Floyd agreed to everything else including 50/50 , ring size , glove size and a 10 mill weight penalty quit telling your lies like it means something , you cant prove the way your putting it as in the timing of things , because your BS did not happen !

The first negotiations for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight began in late 2009. On December 11, 2009, Golden Boy Promotions sent a fight contract on behalf of Mayweather to Top Rank, Pacquiao's promoter. The contract reportedly stipulated a March 13, 2010 fight date, and proposed a 50-50 financial split between the two sides.[1] Mayweather also demanded that Olympic-style drug testing be conducted by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, which would entail random blood and urine testing through the day of the fight.

Looks like Manny knew about the drugs testing right from the kick off , isnt strange that they never said anything untill the contract was wanting Mannys signature , now he is testing Rios , Manny DUCKED that fight you gullible fanboys .LOL

                  By Mark Vester

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer is surprised that WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is planning to sue his company for defamation. Schaefer spoke with BoxingScene.com's Robert Morales and maintains that he never accused Pacquiao of taking any illegal substances; he was simply following the instructions of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his team [who Golden Boy was respresenting in the Pacquiao fight negotiations]. Pacquiao is also planning to sue Mayweather and his father Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Schaefer says "random Olympic-style drug testing" should not be a surprise to Pacquiao because the drug testing clause was including in the original draft of the fight contract for March 13. The fight has crumbled in the last week after Pacquiao and his promotional company refused to have the USADA handle the Olympic-style drug testing. Pacquiao was willing to take up to three blood tests in connection with the fight and agreed to use a company other than the USADA.
"The fact is we have never accused him of anything, nothing. We have been instructed by a client, which is Mayweather and Mayweather's management team, to ensure from the beginning that the proper test, which is blood and urine, be performed. That was in the first draft of the contact; this was no surprise," Schaefer said.

Schaefer is surprised that Pacquiao is possibly going to fight Paulie Malignaggi on March 13, since the Brooklyn fighter has been vocal with his own thoughts on Pacquiao's possible use of performance enhancing drugs.

"I believe in innocent until proven guilty. It is just that Mayweather wants the proper test to take place. It is as simple as that. If he doesn't want to do it, we can't force him. Nobody is accusing anybody of anything. Mayweather Sr. made that comment and I think Paulie Malignaggi made similar comments. And I think it's interesting now that he (Pacquiao) would want to fight Paulie Malignaggi, the guy who accused him of taking performance-enhancing drugs," Schaefer said.

Schaefer says his own company has a financial stake when Pacquiao fights and he wouldn't hurt Manny because of that. Golden Boy receive a very small piece of what Top Rank makes on Pacquiao fight and less when a Golden Boy fighter faces Pacquiao.

"Obviously, he doesn't want to do the drug tests. It cannot be the needle because he has all these tattoos. I'm not accusing the kid of anything. On top of that we have a promotional piece of Pacquiao. I would have to be an idiot to try and destroy the guy."

Smart guy, he knew USADA was shady even before it became clear to all. What's Floyd's problem with using another agency anyway? Why USADA or nothing?

This piece of trash will continue to use Mayweather's name to promote his fighters. He's still bitter about Mayweather doing the smart thing by leaving him, and going off and having a successful career.

I hope Tim Bradley and Manny Pacquiao do the same thing. They don't need Arum. Become free agents and work with Golden Boy and other promotional companies.
