    Puerto Rico vs Mexico in Championship Fights; The Most Comprehensive List

    If you have some legitimate input please post. After Santa Cruz' win over Seda, It's a tie at 44 each.

    Because it would be impossible to include all fights between Puerto Rican and Mexican fighters, this list is limited to championship fights (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) and does not include fights between Americans of Mexican or Puerto Rican decent.

                      OK, Oscar was originally included on the list because he does hold Mexican citizenship, but I removed him in order to make the list completely unbiased. In championship fights Puerto Rico and Mexico are now tied.
