  • Comments Thread For: Marquez: The Judges Did it To Me Again, I Was Robbed

Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas - Former four division champion Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs) was far from happy with scores for his twelve round split decision loss to WBO welterweight king Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs). Two judges saw it 115-113, 116-112 in favor of Bradley, and the third had 115-113 for Marquez.

Marquez believes he was robbed for the sixth time in his career. The only defeat that he actually admits is the one-sided twelve round decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2009.

No champ, you lost 7, maybe 8 rounds.

JMM needs to drop down to 140 where he belongs.

You weren't even competitive for half the rounds, let alone win Marquez.

I love ya Juan, but please sit down.

I swear to god, if you scored that fight for Tim you should probably be shot. What a joke, after each round I was pulling my hair out over the announcers.

The fight was easy to score and the proper score was 8-4 JMM. Clear as fcuking day.

It wasn't a full blown robbery it was a pick pocket. 7-5 Marquez.

I like Marquez, and he has legitimately been robbed on multiple occasions but this simply wasn't one of them. You can't claim Bradley was running when he continuously kept landing the jab, which tells you he was always in range. I hate that he has to run his mouth like this because all that those is make him lose credibility on his official robberies.

None of the decisions that went against JMM were as bad as the 7-5 scorecard in his favor tonight.

                    F8ck Whine Manuel.
