You know how people turn off the commentary during....

Fights, tonight I have the option of listening to commentary but not watching the fight is that worth it?

I'm at work and I can listen to it through my mobile device, for obvious reason I can't watch it.... What would you do?

        Agreed.

In the old days if you weren't at the actual fight or sitting in front of the tube this was the only other viable option and so many were still on the edge of their seats despite the lack of visuals.

The only exception then was that there weren't as many biased commentators as there are today.

Commentary doesn't affect my scoring...I never score fights on my first watch, I rather just sit and enjoy the first time...if I think there was some funny business then I'll score on the second viewing...

Just enjoy boxing, unless you predict outcomes for a living. People tend to take boxing way to seriously rather than enjoy the art.

That's how I do it. I've never scored a fight on my first time watching it.

Same here. I know there are incompetent judges, but there's a reason why judging in boxing is a profession. I could never score a fight live.
