lets hope so. i think top rank is thinking the same, but verdejo is a baby at 20 campaigning at lightweight, while loma is in his physical prime at 25 fighting at featherweight. verdejo might outgrow the division by the time loma gets there.

5 years from now Verdejo will be a WW. Probably when he gets to around 20 something fights, which will be fast because he'll probably fight like 5 times a year for the first few years.No way this fight happens unless Lomachenko does a giant leap up.
