Where Does Marquez Rank ATG/P4P if he Dominates/KO's Bradley?

It probably would, because, other than his lucky punch KO against Pacquiao when he was being beaten up, he's lost whenever he's fought a top guy in his prime. It took him 10 years to win his (vacant) first title, and I think it was against worn-out, feather-fisted Manuel Medina, then a few years later a punched-out Barrera at the end of his long career, and just a few years ago, the next (vacant) weight against another light puncher Juan Diaz.
And it seems that almost every weight class he won was for a vacant title, and against less than stellar competition.
There's no doubt but that his fights against Pacquiao are the major part of his reputation, and without them, he would be somewhere around 200. As it is even if he beats Bradley, he won't advance to better than about 130--150. Bradley is only a "local" top guy, because he's a champion at two weights and still unbeaten although with only 30 fights.
Boxing today is not what it was anytime in the past 90-100 years, and every year there were literally hundreds of thousands of boxers world wide. It only began to shrink after WW2 when people returned from the war with government grants for free education etc. Most of the top guys in the first 5-7 years after the War had been pre-war fighters.Comment

It's a shit win.The fact remains he was the champ. Marquez would've beat Cruz and won every round against Katsidis except for the 3rd. The Casamayor fight is still a good win. Almost everyone looks like crap against him and Marquez won in dramatic fashion. Especially considering that was Marquez's first fight at 135.Comment
