  • Comments Thread For: Quillin: I'm Hitting Rosado With Every Ounce of Pain!

Peter Quillin is getting ready to defend his WBO Middleweight title for the second time against tough Philadelphia native Gabriel Rosado on October 26th at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. Quillin is looking to continue his undefeated streak while Rosado is trying to get back in the win column after two unsuccessful high profile fights.

Quillin is known for having the gift of gab as he’s one of the few fighters that is able to self promote himself with ease. Rosado isn’t one to stay quiet either as earlier this week he assured this championship bout would not last the scheduled 12 rounds.

When BoxingScene caught up with Quillin as his media day in Santa Monica, CA at the Wild Card West Gym, he stated if the fight was to end early, he wouldn’t be the one getting knocked out. [Click Here To Read More]

      Dear Mr. Haymon,

Please put Petey in some tougher fights with better names. He is already 30. You dont need to protect his 0.

Anyone else see this as a 50/50 fight? Quillin can hit, but his stamina has been questioned before and he's goes through spurts where he allows himself to get hit. Now Rosado is no world beater but he has a decent chin and he has good pop. I'm expecting Quillin to win but Rosado will give him a good fight.

That only happens when he takes breaks, if Rosado can withstand the early onslaught, he could rain down on Pete and hurt him.

Quillen is the Danny Garcia of 160. People might think GGG kills him, but I see a very tough fight for both guys.

                GGG does win though.
