  • Comments Thread For: Joel Diaz: Bradley's Going To Put A Beating On Marquez

Joel Diaz realizes why Juan Manuel Marquez is more confident than ever entering his WBO welterweight title fight Saturday night against Timothy Bradley.

Marquez’s one-punch, sixth-round knockout of Manny Pacquiao in his last fight was the best moment of the Mexican legend’s 20-year pro career. Diaz admires Marquez’s accomplishments and has long been a fan of the former four-division champion.

He just can’t envision the 40-year-old Marquez doing anything similar to the fighter he trains that he did to Pacquiao in their fourth fight. [Click Here To Read More]

Marquez is patient / intelligent / one of THE Best counter punchers / and an exceptional boxer. Bradley has shown a tendency to be alittle too mach for his own good, he is pretty fast - but the thing with bradley is his tactics, he gets you out of your gq me with the evander holyfield head buts. Marquez will not be fazed by it he is one of the most focused disciplined fighters out. That will begin the undoing of bradley and Marquez has late in the fight KO power / properly paces himself and has e cellent punch placement - bradley has youth on his side and is always in supreme condition but Marquez comes in pretty good shape himself - good fight - I have marquez but Bradley does know how to pull out Victories

Is he talking about the right Marquez? It not like Marquez is known for getting careless and chasing a knockout, he never really does that and its nothing new for him to fight in the late rounds, hes used to that as well. Its boxing and anything can happen but i think Bradley is in for a shock when Marquez gets going.

          Well

Marquez has been in deep waters before. I still think Marquez is going to lose , because it is written. I think it's going to be like Mayweather vs Marquez.

Marquez has seen everything in the ring from opponents, very fast hands very fast feet that includes 4 fights with Pacquiao and the best there is in the world currently in Floyd Jr. There is nothing that Bradley will bring that Marquez can't solve imo.
Bradley has never seen anything like a Marquez. A fighter with such great intelligence and counter punching ability. Marquez can counter punch both going forward and back. I expect a realy aggressive Marquez in this fight,he needs to be. We have all seen Bradley squeak out points wins before. IMO Marquez will show us the meaning of smart aggression on sat night and take the W.

There's not another fighter on the planet in JMM's weight range that can outclass him the way Floyd did.

I think this one is gonna look a lot like JMM-Diaz I. I think Timmy will bring a lil more skill, and a lot more athletism than tthe Baby Bull did. Plus, I think this a slightly diminished version of JMM. And I think that adds up to Timmy eeking out a razor-think decision.
