You are just wrong and seem to know very little about Marquez. John didn't destroy Marquez. He got a home country robbery win that should have gone to Marquez by a good margin. Mayweather won almost every round by outboxing Marquez but Mayweather was a much bigger man.Mayweather outboxed him but he didn't destroy him. Mayweather beats everyone so losing that fight is not that bad. Marquez has lots of good wins and has been a champion his whole career. You really sold a great fighter short in my opinion.

Anyone who doesnt say Marquez is a gifted boxer is a moron. Style wise he is a nightmare for any offensive minded fighter and he is one of the best when it comes to accuracy but honestly if you look at his fights besides Manny he really has not fought anyone that could have been a threat.

I've been saying this for years now. He's really long past his prime and just gets by on pure offensive counter punching and still-good-timing now. He's lost his speed, legs, balance, reflexes, and defense along with his multiple punch combos. He puts a lot more into single punches now too instead of throwing 4/5/6 combos because he doesn't have the stamina anymore.

Anyway, I don't understand this recent spat of hate for one of the greatest warriors in boxing history and one of the few left today willing to fight anyone, no matter the disadvantages. Every fighter should be like him today and we'd have a great new era of boxing. Floyd and Pac could take a page from the Marquez chronicles.

Looking over his career, he doesn't seem to have any major accomplishments outside I ko'ing PAC. True, nobody can fight PAC like marquez, but what else? Both Mayweather and John destroyed him easily. If Bradley puts on a clinic this weekend, marquez will always be the one-trick pony.

No offense man, but you obviously don't know the first thing about boxing. Having to look up Marquez's record to know what he has done is bad enough, but looking it up and still not recognizing his accomplishments is pathetic.
