1. When they hype you as the next tyson or floyd or some other great.. Example: remember when richard schaffer jumped into the ring and on the mic proclaimed lucas to be the next manny... I posted after that happened that would be the kiss of death for lucas,, and sure enough didnt get another win

2. In a big fight and buddy mcgirt is in your corner,,, you have no chance, he will throw in the towel by the 9th round every time....

I somewhat feel this sentiment. He is not a bad trainer though.

James Mcgirt Jr lost his first in Miami, That night I remember seeing Buddy sr walking back to his car which was not too far from where I parked, and was clearly disappointed after seeing his son get TKOed. Felt very bad for the guy.
