Comments Thread For: Diaz: There is No Doubt That Bradley Beats Marquez

Having come off of a thrilling, give-and-take battle with gritty Russian Ruslan Provodnikov this past March, there was much curiosity surrounding the return of WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley.

Set to face off with Mexico City’s Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday night inside of the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on HBO pay per view, Bradley (30-0, 12 KO’s) admitted to having suffered a concussion during his brutal melee with Provodnikov and claimed to have balance issues in the aftermath of that encounter.

Seeing his charge dive back into a full-fledged workout routine in early August inside of the Indio Boys and Girls Club in Southern California, trainer Joel Diaz could tell instantly that Bradley was far from his peak form.

Diaz, your boy is not fast enough. Unless he gained mayweathers skills since his last fight

I got bradley by razor thin decision,,,,

JMM will look old and slow in this fight,,,

bradley wont be coming straight in like a diaz, or manny did in #4......

It will be a super competitive fight but i just think that jmm will look 40 and get outworked and out hustled for a 115-113 bradley win,,,

but i could see arum screwing bradley and jmm getting a hotly debated decision....

I think Bradley's youth as well as him being more athletic than JMM will give him a slight edge in this fight but its about a 50/50 fight

Make Juan bring the fight to you, he will be out of energy by round 7 or 8.

Marquez needs to plant his feet to have success and Bradley will keep him from setting his feet with the jab and lateral movement.
