Meldrick Taylor did not suffer brain damage in one fight. He had a billion amateur fights and many tough professional fights.

Could be who knows, we have not seen him in action since he beat a count on a KD.

he took a lot of manny pacquaio's best gas as well. he's been in two very hard fights in a row. he shook the manny punches off, but manny was really teeing off on him.

and the provodnikov fight wasn't just a run of the mill beating. he was out on his feet early with a measurable concussion, and went 12 rounds.

He was out on his feet at least in three seperate occasions not something you normally see these days with referees and constant premature stoppages.

I hope not. He has a second chance to finally get over that hump.

But you can't have it both ways. I agree with Bradley. Bradley/Marquez doesn't happen unless he took the risks he did against Provodnikov.

So if he is like Meldrick Taylor he will probably win this fight because it would be one of his best win, Taylor had some of his best wins post JCC sr.~

If Bradley goes up to 154 to fight someone like Terry Norris I think he would get wrecked in that fight also, although there aren't any Terry Norris' at 154 currently

Taylor though he won his first fight back by ko he was never the same again and ended up the way he is now. And after hearing bradley talk ahout his concusion and willing to go full ret@rd.I honestly think provo took something from bradley that fight . Anyone else think he's damaged goods? And that this is gonna end him if marquez hurts him.
He's damaged goods. It's sad, but true. At that age, a beating like that, will take a lot out of you. It could be argued any brutal beating takes it out of you, and it's probably true, but your body just cannot heal the same way it does once it's in its thirties and beyond.

But Bradley has fast hands, and bobs and weaves well, and jumps in with his head, so he's not that easy too hit at all. And JMM is an old man. Despite the fact Bradley has had something taken out of him, he could still win.

I don't think we'll know right away. Might take some years. Unless it's like Juanma Lopez who looks like hes aged 15 years.
