Comments Thread For: Helenius Returning, Looks To Part With Sauerland Event

The Nordic Nightmare, Robert Helenius, 19-0 (11), EBU # 2, WBO # 4 and IBF # 7, is ready to return to the ring after his injury related layoff, but Robert is moving back to Finland and is looking to break away from Sauerland Event, who have handled Helenius since he turned pro.

There are some yet to be named businessmen who want to take over the promotional contract from Sauerland and there are ongoing negotiations to make that happen. It's a shame Robert's hands seem too brittle for his own power. Wish him the best of luck, hopefully he can come back strong.

Iīm guessing Robertīs hand is just fine by now, but he doesnīt want to fight for peanuts any more. This is not the first time they disagree on money. The real question here is if Kalle really is up to the job as his merits arenīt exactly comparable with Ulli Wegnerīs..

helenius is still a wild card in the division. he has some good wins & it sounds like he needs a fresh start & getting a new promoter in his homeland could be a good thing for him mentally.
