Comments Thread For: Mosley, Mundine Both Promise Impressive Wins in Clash

Anthony Mundine and Shane Mosley say their October 23 bout in Sydney is all about working towards a showdown with American boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather.

Known for his "wild talking" when promoting fights, Mundine made it clear at Wednesday's media conference with 42-year-old Mosley that the lead up to their clash would be different.

Mundine denied the pair were "really good friends", despite meeting in the US last year and Mosley having made several trips to Australia in the past.

Instead, he said the chummy atmosphere at the media conference was due to mutual respect, and would change once the fighters entered the ring.

In reading what Mundine and Mosley are yapping, you gotta wonder which one of the geezers is more punch drunk.Mosley looking for rematches or Mundine for thinking Mayweather would fight him.In conclusion they both are.

I cringed at their delusion and when I read "impressive wins"

Shane Mosley has never fought Marquez. Maybe he meant he wants to fight Marquez or confused the last name with Cotto or Alvarez?

Both need to retire period. Mosley has had a great career he can't hang with the elite anymore. I'll take Mosley in this one though.

Wow. Both these guys must be in a pretty bad place mental health wise if they truly believe the things they are saying.
