    Oh really?

I hope you mean that in a positive manner. He "handpicked" Vanderpool and Reid right? There arent many fighters who are eager to call those two out.

Oh and lets keep in mind there is a very shallow talent pool in the super-middleweight division outside of Lacy. Kessler comes close and IMO is the second best of the lot, but the division is still open untill Lacy unifies.

In fact I have a question....

Who should Lacy have fought by this time in his career?

I think Lacy is the best of the 3 but the other 2 are underrated.

I hear Kessler is ****ing good, but Calzaghe, he WAS good. However, Calzaghe is done, and Lacy will K him TFO.

            Lacy should have fought
            Danny Green
Librado Andrade and perhaps Anthony Mundine
But let us see after he has fought Calzaghe.I hope Lacy will fight Kessler, but i doubt he will

Yeah i'm biased for sure - but who (of the people who bothers to vote) isn't?

Anyway reasons being - Kessler is the most complete package. Sure Lacy has more power - but not as much more as ppl think. In every other skills department Kessler is the better.
Calzaghe has got skills too - but he is not getting younger. Kessler being the youngest of the three he has the future ahead of him - and the biggest potential to develope even further.
But as i said. Kessler even at this stage is already the best.
              I agree.

People who has seen Calzaghe (more than the last couple of fights) will agree that he is very good but has been fighting poor opponents and not been showing his full potential for the past couple of years. If he still has got it he could very well be number one.
Lacy looks big and strong with a lot of power though i'm not completely convinced that he has the boxing skills to deal with someone like Kessler who works really well behind his long jab.
My vote went to Kessler since i believe he has the skill and the ability to outbox the other two.

But i hope we will soon find out who is not number one.

I am sometimes critical towards Lacy. Mainly because he is sometimes being portrayed as the unrivalled ruler of SMW. In my opinion it's just too early to make that call - EVEN if he beats Calzaghe.

However we should not be too critical about what Lacy has faced so far. He is still on the way up - and saying at this point, that "he should have fought..." is going too far in the criticism.
I must admit that sometimes - listening to some of the rather outrageous claims about how supperior Lacy is - I get caught up in the same kind of argument.

Enough to say, that if Lacy wants too PROVE he is the best, he has a few more opstacles he needs to get over.

Personally i think he'll stumble when/if he fights Kessler. I also think it's way too early to write off Calzaghe.

Arturo Gatti's not on the level of the best American welterweights, and he destroyed Denmark's best. Kessler is a very good fighter, but I don't see him, or Calzaghe, beating Lacy. That's not bias, it's merely opinion.

Funny sort of argument you are using here. So because Damgaard is not competitive in his weightclass, Kessler cant possibly be any better in his?

Well if that argument is valid you can sleep tight with nothing to fear from danish boxers. In several weightclasses a small country like Denmark is even less competitive than in welterweight.
With that in mind Kessler would surely loose to even the most mediocre american fighters in SMW

If you had listened to some of the posters who knows something about boxing in Denmark you would know that Damgaard never has been rated near Kessler talent wise and you would know that Damgaard had looked average against poor competion the last couple of years. Him losing to Gatti was not really a surprise.
