  • Khan vs Garcia 2?

Anyone else think we are going to see Khan vs Garcia 2 with the winner getting the Mayweather fight?

The Alexander fight seems to be off, so why not have Garcia make his welterweight debut against Khan?

I'm guessing the fight if it is made would be early next year.

It would be the first match both fighters have at welterweight and have the winner considered a viable opponent at the weight class.

It would be a risky fight for both guys. Khan takes the risk of getting chin checked and Garcia takes the risk of moving up to 147 and it not working out for him.
I think Garcia is ok with letting Khan take on Floyd in May and has probably been told by Golden Boy an Haymon that he will get his shot either next year or before Floyd is done.

No need for a second fight. This is looking like the rematch with Lucas. Garcia was suppose to lose and didn't
