I am not aware of his financial situation, but he has been fighting well past his prime and losing. That would strongly indicate he has no money left.

Doubt it, he would only sign to fight Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins for 50% of the purse.. A broke guy would have taken what he could get.

He apparently did not get paid to fight Bernard Hopkins in their rematch due to a very ****** business manager, and reports are that he completely squandered his fortune.

Saying that; between his recent fights and his job at HBO, he should be doing okay.

I doubt he is broke, he probably fights just for the excitement.

For what it's worth, Dan Rafael wrote (in a Friday chat) that Jones has serious financial problems but would not elaborate.

I suspect it was primarily due to his past involvement in the music business.

I'm sure we will never see him in the 'bread line' though.

I know he owed the IRS millions not too long ago. A simple Google search confirms that.
