Comments Thread For: DeGale Hopes To Land The Froch vs. Groves Winner

James DeGale returns to action at Glow, Bluewater against an unnamed opponent on November 16.

The former Olympic champion will defend his WBC silver super-middleweight title at the Kent venue where he has already appeared twice.

"Bluewater always has a real intensity about it and a real intimate feel, which is something that the boxing fraternity and us as fighters love," DeGale said.

Froch will move on to bigger things if he wins. Groves will continue to duck DeGale and live off that gift decision for the rest of his career.

DeGale turned Hearn down and the promoter he signed for now works with Warren's BoxNation. I don't see this fight happening. DeGale needs a good win for it to happen.

So he fights bum after bum and wants to land the winner of that fight ... more like the loser and that if he's lucky.

Degale needs a big name opponent to take on the winner, which he does not have on his resume. He thinks holding a European Belt and making a noise when he gets media coverage is enough but unless he gets a big name opponent he will be clutching at straws. Anyway in my opinion he is overated he loves the ropes too much- Degale talks the talk but does not walk the walk.

If I was degale I would be trying to push for a fight with sakio bika, that silver title has to mean something. Id forget about groves and try and make my own way to a title, they can meet backup later, when hopefully they both hold titles.

I believe there are better names in division to get the chance for a title. Well if Groves wins maybe he can destroy Degale before the rematch with Froch

That's how Groves got the Froch fight
