Top Rank has an Eastern European invasion on the way. Olympic gold medal winners Vasyl Lomachenko and Egor Mekhontsev were getting in some work at the Top Rank Gym in Las Vegas. Lomachenko makes his pro debut, at featherweight, on Saturday night against Jose Ramirez on the Juan Manuel Marquez-Timothy Bradley undercard at the Thomas & Mack Center. Lomachenko signed a multi-year promotional agreement with Top Rank. Mekhontsev, a strong light heavyweight with a yet to be determined pro debut date, will soon sign the agreement for his Top Rank deal. Both fighters are represented by manager Egas Klimas.
