escobedo or khan ... who do you believe in more

khan, what can you say that hasn't already been said? escobedo, the promising lightweight from CA who has what it seems, all the tools necessary to become a highly skilled boxer/puncher.

the only time i ever saw khan, he was in w/ a non-descript and tried to blow him out of the water w/ his power and got caught more than i thought he would. of course, khan did this because dude couldn't hurt him so i really couldn't form an opinion of the guy. seeing escobedo fight though, its truly poetry.

from what i've seen and read about the two, i favor the mexican/american.

Khan, Khan, Khan. Olympic silver medalist as a 17 year old vs. an olympian?

Khan has been put in with patsies so far, but the guy is a real talent, don't know what his chin is like though. He won't end up as a lightweight, he'll be a Light Welterweight.

He is being very well handled, and he'll be a real force if he progresses as far as he should.

Difficult to compare Khan and Escobedo, as Escobedo is quite a bit older, and is a smaller guy.

i thought khan was fighting lightweight, just saw that hes listed @ 140! i saw a pic of him somewhere and thought he looked to big for a lightweight. whowa, so then since the kid is still friggin' young ... he could potentially be in the mix in 2 years @ lightwelter/welter ... whos style does he most embody today?

Hes got a style like Naseem Hamed, but i think Khan has a much better handspeed,Some people also compare his handspeed with Floyd Mayweather, his style is a bit like Hamed but without the ****iness, because Khan is a polite and humble prospect.

i wouldn't be able to take another hamed/camacho type - first time someone pulls their card, its over for those types just like rosario and barrera did.

His handspeed and footwork is better than Hamed though, and hes not ****y either.
